The Procedure
FUE Sapphire, Explained Step by Step
FUE (follicular unit extraction) moves individual hair follicles from the donor area at the back and sides of your head into thinning areas. The Sapphire variant uses sapphire-tipped micro-tools to open the implantation channels — for precise placement and minimal scarring. Here's what the full journey looks like, with nothing glossed over.
How It Works
How It Works
A straightforward five-step journey from first message to full recovery.
Step 01
Free Consultation
Send us a few photos and we'll come back within 24 hours with a personalized assessment and confirmed price — no obligation, no online payment required.
Step 02
Confirm Your Dates & Book Your Flight
Once your surgery date is agreed, you book your own flight to Istanbul and send us the ticket — that's what confirms your reservation. We help you plan the timing, and everything on the ground is handled by us.
Step 03
Arrival & Treatment
VIP transfer and hotel check-in on arrival. Day 1 is blood analysis and pre-op consultation. Day 2 is your procedure: individual hair follicles are extracted and placed into thinning areas using the FUE Sapphire technique (sapphire-tipped micro-tools for precise, minimal-scarring extraction). It takes roughly 7–8 hours, and you're awake throughout under local anesthesia — the treatment area is fully numbed.
Step 04
Check-Up & Fly Home
Before your flight home you return to the hospital for a hair wash and post-op check, and the team walks you through exactly how to care for your hair over the first month.
Step 05
Ongoing Support
You leave with a full month of medical shampoo, serum, and vitamins included. Our team stays available for questions as your results grow in over the following 12 months.
Your stay: 2 nights / 3 days in Istanbul. Payment is made in cash at the hospital on arrival.

What Recovery Really Looks Like
Honest expectations matter more than perfect promises. This is the typical timeline.
Days 1–10
Protect the grafts
Avoid cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, intense exercise (gym, running), and sexual activity — anything that raises blood pressure or circulation risks bleeding while the new grafts settle in. From day 10, the first new hairs start to show.
Months 1–2
Shock loss — and it's normal
The transplanted hair sheds. It looks alarming, but it's a completely normal part of the process: the follicles stay healthy under the skin.
Months 3–11
Regrowth
New, permanent hair grows in gradually, with thickness and coverage improving month by month.
Month 12
Full result
Most patients see their final result about a year after the procedure.
